Through a unique partnership with Children’s Memorial Hospital we provide a broad range of pediatric specialty services for infants, children and teens. The pediatric specialists from Children’s Memorial are on-site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 

Children’s Memorial Pediatric Hospitalists are board-certified in pediatrics with extended training in the management of neonatal and pediatric inpatients. The Children’s Pediatric Hospitalists at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital assist the patient’s primary care physician by providing consultation during admission and throughout the patient’s entire hospitalization. They are also available to attend high-risk deliveries, provide ongoing care for the neonate in the Level II+ Special Care Nursery, as well as consult on pediatric cases in the Emergency Department.

Parents: To be prepared in the event that your child may need to go to the Emergency Department before you can arrive, complete this Parental Consent: Emergency Release form and leave it where it can be found easily by a teacher, neighbor or babysitter.
